A Romantic June Wedding at Stonefields Estate
Hailey and Nate celebrated their beautiful June 13th wedding at the timeless Stonefields Estate. They envisioned a day that was romantic, intimate, and full of joy – and it was all that and more.
It was a warm, sunny afternoon in the countryside where Stonefields Estate is located. Both Hailey and Nate got ready onsite, surrounded by their closest friends as they exchanged gifts and handwritten letters. The getting-ready moments are always some of my favourites; filled with anticipation, laughter, and those holy-crap I’m-getting-married-moments before everything begins.
Stonefields Estate is full of hidden gems; the farmhouse is a beautiful space to get ready. We felt like we were stepping into a scene from Pride & Prejudice where the girls shared their first look together.
Hailey and Nate’s own first look was surrounded by the black locust trees (which were in full bloom!!) creating the dreamiest backdrop. Afterward, we captured their portraits and wedding party photos, saving the family portraits for cocktail hour. A majority of couples want to be a part of their cocktail hour and choose to do a first look for that reason – which I love! However, scheduling all of the formal photos berfore the ceremony might burn you out. I recommend saving the family photos for cocktail hour to have a much needed break away from the formal photos. You’ll still have so much time (roughly an hour) to join cocktail hour – which is what Hailey and Nate did!
Their ceremony took place in the white chapel, which is a favourite space for many. They exchanged personal vows that were a beautiful reflection of their love story. Guests were welcomed with champagne as the celebrations began – it was a beautiful start to the evening with lots of hugs and well wishes (and compliments on how amazing the bride and groom looked!).
As the sun set, the reception glowed with candlelight. It was warm, romantic, and intimate – just as they wanted. Sage Designs added stunning greenery and draping to the wood paneling at the head table and above guests that added to the romance.
We slipped away for a few golden hour photos. Taking that time for a few quiet moments together is always something I recommend; it’s such a grounding part of an otherwise whirlwind day.
Throughout it all, what stood out most was the love — in every check-in with each other, speech, happy tear shed. Hailey and Nate’s wedding day was a true celebration of love and admiration, not without wit and a few funny jokes. What a honour to have been a part of it all.
Congrats again!
