A Garden Party Inspired Wedding at Adelina Barn

On August 23rd, 2024 Monica and Alexi had their beautiful, garden party inspired wedding day at Adelina barn in Quebec. They created a personalized experience for their guests including signature drinks, napkins with handwritten notes, a champagne toast welcoming everyone, and custom neon sign.

It was a warm summer day at Adelina Barn where Monica got ready with her bridesmaids and the two moms. Before getting dressed, Monica opened a letter and gift from her soon to be husband. After photo’s with her bridesmaids, Monica had a first look with her dad which are always so special and emotional. Alexi got ready with his groomsmen not far from the venue, cheersing and prepping for the day.

The overall vibe was to have a relaxed, fun and intimate time with their nearest and dearest. Michele at Adelina Barn created all the beautiful blooms that transformed the place into the garden party theme Monica and Alexi dreamed of. Their ceremony was officiated by one of the best men which made the ceremony all the more special.

After Monica and Alexi said I do, their guests threw rose petals and we moved under the pergola for a champagne tower and toast. It was a beautiful and fun way to gather their guests and officially start their cocktail hour! We took family and wedding party photo’s under one of the willow tree’s at Adelina Barn and with doing a first look, Monica and Alexi could enjoy their cocktail hour with their friends and family.

The two got engaged in Italy and had photo’s of their proposal and engagement session in their guest book. Alexi also had a piece of Italy added to the inside of his jacket. Their guests got to enjoy some of the Italian vibes with drinks in the warm sun coming through the pergola. The iced tea was phenomenal!

A favourite time for the first dance is following the grand entrance, it brings the romance and love from the ceremony back to the reception. Thyme and Again catered the day and the food was incredible. The day could not have gone any more perfect!

Once we laughed and shed a few tears through speeches, we snuck out at sunset for some more photo’s of the couple. Then Monica and Alexi cut their cake and the party started! Guests could dance in the barn or chat outside under the pergola or by the fire pit.

This wedding was shot on digital and film, adding that nostalgic romantic feeling to their gallery and wedding memories.

Monica and Alexi are two of the best people I’ve met through this career. I had chosen to shoot their wedding on my birthday, and enjoyed it so much! They take care of their people and are so kind and warm. Congratulations again!
